![]() Good Karma for 2008/2009! A limited supply of new-crop Cherry Karma has arrived! This coffee has been processed by a method that is rarely used in India for Arabica coffees. The method is the “dry” method of drying the green beans inside of the Cherry in which they have developed. Rare, delicious, uncanny taste sensations result and produce a flavor profile that we treasure and delight in. Typically, green coffee beans are, immediately upon harvest, extracted from the delicious red fruit in which it develops. However, the “natural” method of processing allows the beans to remain in, and become imbued with, the sweetness and perfume of the luscious fruit, producing a coffee with unparalleled body and exotic aromas. Cherry Karma is grown among spice plants beneath exotic shade trees on the miraculously beautiful Basaveshwara Estate located in the Giri region of Chikmagalur District in the state of Karnataka in South India.
